The Yorkshire Building Society has introduced new interest rates for both it's mortgage and saving products. These changes will come into effect from 27th August 2006.

Their standard variable rate is *6.65%, with Bank of England base rate Trackers increased by 0.25%. Visit the YBS Mortgages page for the latest information. New Fixed Rate Mortgage:

  • 5.14% until 30/09/2011, then 6.65% (SVR) variable for the remaining term of the mortgage.
  • The overall cost for comparison is 6.3% APR
  • Product fee payable; early repayment charges apply till 30/09/2011

Changes in rates effect a multitude of products including - ISA Plus, Notice Saver, Monthly Saver, Access Saver, One Day/Freedom, Child Trust Fund, First Time Buyer, Yorkshire Terriers, Internet Saver, and Variable Rate Bond.
